As a nurse in our service, you will have the opportunity to work
with a team of nationally and internationally recognized surgeons.
Our Nursing staff includes:
- ADN/BSN prepared
- Certified Breast Self Exam Educators
- Multiple levels for RN professional advancement
The Women's and Colon & Rectal Services offers:
- 12 week Clinical Internship Program
- OR observation of specialized surgical procedures
- Observation day with Certified ET nurse
- Extended mentoring support through the Center for Nursing Excellence
- Specialized cross training in the care of Antepartum and Postpartum
patients
- Specialized in-service education on topics related to the care
of surgical patients
- Surgical Grand Rounds
- Breast Conference
- Yearly Competency Marathon
- Annual Clinical Conference
